• type of text (brochure, website, restaurant menu, internal memo, etc.)

• how soon you need the translation

• whether the translation be published (print or web), or if it simply for informational use (e.g. internal email or memo)

• file type (word, powerpoint, etc.)

• if you need me to use specific terminology, a translation memory or glossary
