Hi! I’m Laurie.

I was born and raised in the U.S., and I spent my childhood running around the prairies of Minnesota and dipping my toes into many of its 10,000 lakes.

Today, I live in Trier, Germany with my husband and two sons.

I’m a German-to-English translator, transcreator, copy editor, and proofreader who’s been in the industry for more than a decade, so if you’re looking for someone to help you reach your English-speaking audience, I have plenty of experience on my side.

You want to find someone who takes the time to understand your texts, your brand, and your message just as well as you do. Whether it’s a bold new marketing campaign, menus for an up-and-coming restaurant, product descriptions for a new gourmet food line, a website for an exclusive luxury hotel, or a thesis you’ve been working on so long it feels like your baby: rest assured, your texts are in good hands.

Together, we will clarify your target audience, your messaging, and tone of voice in English. Then, I get to work translating or editing your texts, making sure that what I deliver is clear, compelling copy that resonates with your specific audience.
