English Proofreading/Editing
I have more than 10 years of experience proofreading and editing English texts written by non-native speakers. I specialize in proofreading academic texts (bachelor’s theses, master’s theses, dissertations, academic journal articles), but I can also help with CVs, job application cover letters, website texts, image brochures, restaurant menus, social media content, etc.
I myself wrote my master’s thesis in German and know firsthand how daunting it can be to write in your non-native language and how important it is to have a qualified proofreader at your side. Having an expert review your text ensures that your message gets across clearly and that your work looks polished and professional.
Proofreading File Formats
MS Word (most common, Track Changes feature used)
MS Powerpoint
MS Excel
PDF (done in Adobe Acrobat, slightly more time-consuming but the best option for files with lots of visual content such as brochures)
LaTex (used for academic texts, Overleaf has a great proofreading tool)
